The holiday was held for 6 couples of family life jubilees who celebrated the 50th and 60th anniversary of the family this year. "Newlyweds" remembered how they signed in the book of acts of civil status and received the first family document from the hands of the civil registry office employee.
Recall, the tradition of honoring couples who have lived in a marriage of 50, 60 and 70 years originated in Kazan in 2000 and continues to this day. Every month in all city departments of the civil registry office employees hold celebrations for those of Kazan who, more than half a century ago, crossed the registry office threshold and tied their fates together. Such "newlyweds" are given a monetary gift and a congratulatory address of the Mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Raisovich Metshin.
It is very pleasant that from year to year the number of family anniversaries only grows.
