The couple entered the registration hall under Marsh Mendelssohn and the applause of their children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren. Monthly holidays are held in the registry office for couples who have traveled a long way in life with joys and successes, losses and hardships.
In total, in January 2019, the civilian registry offices congratulated 16 long-lived pairs, of which 3 families lived together for 60 years, the remaining 13 for 50 years. For each family, kind words were spoken, wishing respect, attention from loved ones, health and peace of mind. By tradition, the celebration of anniversaries ended with the clinking of glasses of champagne to the cries of “Bitter!” And a gentle waltz!
