Today in the Kirov department of the registrar of Kazan ended a series of April honors of gold and diamond married couples
For 19 couples who celebrated the half-century anniversary of the family, and 5 couples who celebrated the 60th anniversary of the wedding, Marsh Mendelssohn again sounded.
Since 2000 in our city celebrations of married couples who lived in marriage for 50, 60 and 70 years have been held. Every month in all city departments of the registry office, employees hold celebrations for those Kazanians who more than half a century ago crossed the threshold of the registry office and linked their fates. Such a "newlyweds" are given a cash gift and a congratulatory address of the Mayor of Kazan Ilsu Raisovich Metshin.
Not every married couple manages to overcome this half-century boundary. It is very joyful that the number of family anniversaries who have lived together 50, 60 and even 70 years from year to year only grows.
